The Directorate of Agriculture Research Gilgit-Baltistan invites sealed bids from well-reputed registered firms and authorized dealers for the supply of items for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement covers three main categories: laboratory chemicals, laboratory glassware and plant rootstock; fencing materials including Gabion wire, angle irons and steel wire; and laboratory equipment and machinery. This tender is issued under the Public Procurement Rules Authority framework and applies to the Gilgit-Baltistan region. The scope encompasses consumables and equipment essential for agricultural research operations and facility maintenance.
Participating firms must be registered with relevant authorities and possess complete setups including their own shops and showrooms with prior experience of relevant supply documented through evidence. Only firms registered for the specific business categories are eligible to supply lab chemicals, glassware and equipment. For rootstock supply, participating firms or nursery owners must be registered and renewed with the Federal Seed Certification and Registration Department (FSC&RD) as a Fruit Plant Nursery, with valid registration and renewal documentation attached to technical proposals. Bid security of three percent of the total bid value issued by any scheduled bank or KCBL in favor of the Director Agriculture Research must accompany all offers.
Sealed bids and quotations must reach the office of the undersigned on or before 15 October 2026 by 11:00 AM, with opening scheduled for 11:30 AM the same day. The single-stage two-envelope procedure under PPRA rules shall be adopted, with financial bids of technically qualified bidders only being opened. Tender roles remain valid until 30 June 2027.
