WAPDA seeks a contractor for data center renovation and rehabilitation at its Hydrology and Research Directorate in Lahore.
This is a civil works contract for infrastructure upgrade at a federal water authority facility. The procurement uses e-bidding via EPADS with Least Cost selection, suggesting competitive pressure on pricing. Bidders must be EPADS-registered and provide standard bid security. The September 3, 2026 deadline is firm with same-day electronic opening; manual submissions are rejected. This appears to be a one-off facility upgrade rather than a recurring service contract.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0. For civil works in Pakistan, contractors typically require relevant PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) category registration, valid NTN (National Tax Number), and SECP registration where applicable. The notice does not explicitly state PEC category or other sectoral restrictions, but standard federal civil works procurement typically requires PEC Category-G or above depending on contract value.
