Description / Scope of Work
Price Validity: Approved bid rates remain fixed through June 30, 2027, without price fluctuations or reduction in supply quality. Financial Standing: Bidders must provide a bank statement showing at least PKR 5,000,000 (50 Lakh) in transactions for the preceding financial year. Workshop / Facility Requirements:Vehicle repairs require documentary proof of owning a workshop or an active Joint Venture (JV). Machinery and equipment supplies require documentary proof of owning an IT/machinery store or an active JV.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered with relevant government authorities and to possess certified bank statements showing a minimum transaction value of Pakistani rupees 500,000 from the preceding financial year. Contractors bidding for vehicle repair must maintain their own workshop or garage with documentary proof, while suppliers of machinery and equipment must own or operate their own retail shop or warehouse. A bid security (earnest money deposit) of 5 percent of the tender value must be submitted in the name of the Director Food, Gilgit-Baltistan. Minimum one year's experience with government or semi-government organisations in repair and supply work is mandatory. Firms must be duly registered with the relevant government body.
Tenders will be received until 11:00 AM on 17 September 2026 at the directorate office and opened at 12:00 PM on the same date in the presence of bidders. Technical and financial bids will be evaluated separately following PPRA Gilgit-Baltistan Rule 39(3) procedures using single-stage two-envelope method. Tender documents, detailed specifications and the tender form can be obtained from the directorate during office hours. The successful bidder must supply all items at the quoted rates throughout the entire contract period without variation or reduction in quantity. The Director reserves the right to reject any or all tenders and forfeit bid security if tender conditions are violated.
