For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
This is a federal defence ammunition procurement for 12.7mm x 99 caliber rounds, a standard NATO round used in military applications.
The bidder must be DGDP-registered or willing to register post-award; unregistered firms face higher documentation fees. The short timeline (less than two years) and stringent technical compliance requirements suggest a mature, established supplier with prior defence contracts is preferred. The tender requires duplicate technical submissions and detailed compliance matrices, indicating rigorous evaluation. This appears a one-time requirement unless part of a framework agreement.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered with DGDP or willing to register post-award. Firms must submit bank challan (Rs 200 if DGDP-registered, Rs 300 otherwise), tax filing proof, and manufacturer authorization letters where applicable. Typically, suppliers of military ammunition must hold relevant manufacturing or distribution licenses and comply with Pakistan Ordnance Factory regulations or equivalent authority approval.
