This is a multi-scheme procurement for road and sewerage rehabilitation across Karachi, split into 18 separate contracts to enable smaller contractors to participate.
Project values range significantly from approximately Rs. 20 crore to Rs. 22 crore individual schemes. The tender was extended by approximately three weeks due to E-PADS technical issues, suggesting administrative delays that may persist. All schemes require PEC C-6 category license with CE01/CE09/CE10 codes—standard for construction contractors in Karachi. The repeated scheme types and locations indicate this is part of a planned municipal infrastructure program rather than emergency procurement, suggesting potential for future similar opportunities.
Who can bid: Bidders must hold valid PEC license Category C-6 or above with specialization codes CE01, CE09, CE10. NIC copy, active Federal Board of Revenue NTN status, and valid CNIC certificate required.
