Description / Scope of Work
Rawalpindi Medical University invites electronic bids on a framework contract basis for the procurement of office stationery, printing material and general store items during the financial year 2026-2027. The contract covers supply of various consumable items required for the university's operations at the Old and New Teaching Blocks in Rawalpindi, Punjab. The procurement is funded by the Government of Punjab through the Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department and shall be conducted on a single stage two-envelope bidding procedure as per Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. Delivery is required free to the consignee's end directly to the university's premises.
Eligible bidders must be manufacturers, distributors, general order suppliers or importers/sole agents registered with the Federal Board of Revenue and appearing in the latest active taxpayers list with current income tax and sales tax certificates. Bidders must hold a professional tax certificate from Punjab and provide evidence of financial soundness and a list of relevant major supplies. A bid security of two percent of the estimated amount must be submitted through the Bank of Punjab in the prescribed format in favour of the Vice Chancellor. Bidders shall not be under declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices as declared by RMU or PPRA.

Electronic bids must be submitted on or before 05 September 2026 until 10:30 a.m. through Punjab E-PADS. Technical proposals will be opened on the same date at 11:00 a.m. in the presence of bidders wishing to witness proceedings.
