Description / Scope of Work
The Cutlery & Small Tools Industries Service Centre, a technical institute under the Government of Punjab's Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA), invites electronic bids for the comprehensive repairing of miscellaneous industrial machines and allied accessories at its facility in Wazirabad. The tender comprises five packages covering specialized equipment including an electric furnace with oxidation chamber, horizontal cold chamber die casting machine, arc coating machine, frictional spindle press (280 ton), lathe machine, shearing machine, polishing unit, CNC vertical machining center, and CNC turning center. The total estimated cost across all packages is PKR 4,190,000, with package values ranging from PKR 480,000 to PKR 1,625,000. The work is to be completed within 90 days of contract award, with all repairs to be conducted at CSTISC Wazirabad premises or approved external workshops.
Bidders must be registered with the Tax Department for Income Tax, General Sales Tax, Punjab Sales Tax, and Professional Tax. Bid security of 2% of the total estimated cost for each package must be furnished as Earnest Money in the form of Bank Deposit, CDR, or Pay Order in favor of TEVTA CSTISC-WZD Non-Salary. Replacement parts must be genuine and new; old parts become the property of CSTISC Wazirabad. Defects will be verified by CSTISC before replacement processing. All replacement parts must be genuine and new. Bidders are encouraged to visit the facility during office hours (8:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Friday) to inspect the machines prior to submitting bids.
E-bids must be submitted online through the Punjab e-Procurement System at https://ppra.punjab.gov.pk/e-procurement by 12:00 PM on 07 September 2026, with opening at 12:30 PM the same day. The repairing offer validity period is 90 days from bid opening date. Bidders may quote for any one or multiple packages as deemed fit. Late submissions will be rejected. Delayed completion incurs a penalty of 0.05% per day of contract value.
