Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Ordnance Factories invites quotations for indigenous supplies under tender reference 0016/LP/SJL/56 dated 05-MAY-26. The scope encompasses materials and plant & machinery to be delivered free on rail to POF stores at Sanjwal, Punjab, with inspection and acceptance by competent inspection authority nominated by the purchaser. Bidders must submit quotations electronically on www.ebidding.pof.gov.pk before 30 minutes prior to opening at 10:00 hours on 10-SEP-26 at the Bid Centre adjacent to Rabita Hall, POF Wah Cantt. The tender follows single-stage two-envelope method under PPRA Rule 36(b) for open competitive bidding, with technical and commercial evaluation conducted strictly per PPRA rules and contract award to the most advantageous bidder.
Eligibility requirements include submission of bid security as deposit at call receipt, pay order or banker cheque from scheduled bank in favour of GM PPC POF Sanjwal. Registered and indexed firms must provide 2% of quoted value (maximum Rs. 0.5 million); registered/unindexed firms 3% (maximum Rs. 0.75 million); unregistered firms 5% (maximum Rs. 1.00 million). A non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 500 by crossed postal order payable to Director-Admin-POFs, Wah Cantt is mandatory. Successful bidders shall provide performance bond not exceeding 10% of contract value as deposit at call receipt or unconditional bank guarantee in favour of C.M.A. (POF) Wah Cantt.
For materials, prices must be entered in column 5 with delivery date in column 7 of the tender schedule. Quotations must remain valid for at least 90 days from commercial tender opening date and should hold good for any reduced or enhanced quantities. Suppliers must furnish certificates from Excise & Taxation department confirming clearance of professional tax, and provide information regarding hazardous effects on environment in quotations and shipping documents. Tender documents are available electronically at www.ebidding.pof.gov.pk, with all quotations and bid security instruments to be presented on tender opening day at the Bid Centre.
