Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Water & Power Development Authority (WAPDA) invites electronic bids for the repair and re-babbitting of two turbine guide bearings at Hydel Power Station Rasul, Mandi Bahauddin, Punjab. The work involves restoration of bearings with specifications including height of 448mm, diameter after re-babbit material of 530mm, diameter after re-babbit surface of 499.70mm, white metal thickness of 15mm, and approximate white metal weight of 40kg. The work is to be executed on a Delivered Duty Paid (D.D.P.) basis with a completion period of 30 days. The tender reference is PRD(L)/WAPA/053(2026-27) and bid documents are available on the EPADS portal at www.eprocure.gov.pk.
Bidders must be registered with Income Tax and Punjab Sales Tax Departments, listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), and in the case of works possess a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) license in category C-6. Bidders must demonstrate successful completion of similar nature works or contracts during the last five years with any Government, Semi-Government, Autonomous Body, WAPDA, DISCOs, GENCOs, or reputable private organizations, supported by work orders, completion certificates, and satisfactory performance certificates. Bid security of Rs.98,600 must be submitted in the form of a CDR in favour of the Resident Engineer with the firm name clearly mentioned.
Electronic bids must be submitted using EPADS on or before 11.00 hrs on 08.09.2026 as per rule-13. Manual bids shall not be accepted. Electronic bids will be opened on the same day at 11.30 hrs in the office of the Resident Engineer, Hydel Power Station Rasul, Mandi Bahauddin. Bidders should upload signed and stamped forms of Bid, BOQ, and Contract Data; quoted rates must be inclusive of all applicable government taxes.
