Description / Scope of Work
The Gilgit-Baltistan Disaster Management Authority (GBDMA) Diamer invites sealed tenders from registered suppliers and firms for the repair and maintenance of light and heavy machinery for the year 2026-27. The tender is issued under GB PPRA rules and is open to suppliers working with government departments or other reputed organizations. Earnest money of PKR 100,000 is required as a Certificate of Deposit from any scheduled bank. The scope covers ongoing maintenance and repair services for GBDMA's light and heavy machinery fleet, with tender rates remaining fixed until 30 June 2027, indicating a framework or rate-contract arrangement.
Eligible bidders must be registered firms in the relevant category with valid registration certificates for 2025-26 and current renewal fee receipts. The firm should be financially stable and must own spare parts inventory and a functioning workshop facility for servicing light and heavy machinery. Bidders are required to submit a magistrate-attested non-blacklisting certificate and provide original CNIC documentation when collecting tender documents. A single-stage two-envelope procurement procedure will be adopted as per GB PPRA rules, and all bids must be submitted in printed format with no handwritten entries accepted.
Tender documents are available from the Assistant Director GBDMA Diamer office at the Deputy Commissioner Office Chilas during working hours (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM) until 10 September 2026 at 10:30 AM. All sealed tenders must reach the AD GBDMA Diamer office by the closing deadline and will be opened the same day at 11:00 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. The procurement committee reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders in accordance with GB PPRA regulations, and the tender notice is published on the GB PPRA website at www.gbppra.org.pk.
