Description / Scope of Work
Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT), located in Taxila Cantt, Punjab, invites sealed bids for the refurbishment and upgrade of its Chrome Plating Laboratory comprising 16 items. This procurement is conducted on a Free on Rail (FOR) basis under PPRA and Ministry of Defence Production rules. The delivery period is two months after contract signing. Eligible bidders include manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors and suppliers possessing valid National Tax Number (NTN) and Sales Tax Registration (where applicable). The tender is issued as a Standard Bidding Document (SBD) following a single-stage two-envelope process.
Bidders must be registered with relevant government authorities and possess three years of documented work experience or contracts with government or semi-government organisations. A postal order of Rs 2,000 in favour of the Director Supply Chain Management Directorate must accompany the technical bid. Bidders are required to submit audited financial statements for the last three years, attested bank statements for one year, attested CNIC of the Chief Executive or Director, and a certificate on judicial paper worth Rs 100 duly attested by an Oath Commissioner confirming the firm has not been blacklisted, suspended, or debarred by any government organisation.
