Description / Scope of Work
District Council Gujrat invites e-bids through the E-Procurement System of Punjab for the execution of 21 infrastructure and construction projects during the financial year 2026-2027. The projects include rehabilitation of parks, desiltation of ponds, construction of nullahs, drainage systems, streets, and roads across various villages in Gujrat District, Punjab. The estimated total cost of all projects ranges from PKR 2.35 million to PKR 63.45 million, with individual bid security amounts ranging from PKR 1,17,500 to PKR 31,72,500. The scope encompasses comprehensive civil works including construction of streets and drains in villages such as Bashna, Mantan, Barnali, Bosal, and Akia, rehabilitation of the Karianwala Park, and construction of priority routes including a path and drains from Kotia Khairan Road to Nadia Kotla and a road from Khalid Petrolem bypass to village Mohla Langrial.
Eligible bidders must be financially sound firms, contractors, or companies registered with relevant departments and enrolled in the Punjab E-Procurement System. Applicants are required to hold valid Professional Engineering Council (PEC) licenses in the appropriate category, possess valid income tax certificates and active Federal Board of Revenue and Pakistan Revenue Authority status, and attach fresh affidavits confirming they are neither blacklisted under the PPRA nor currently involved in litigation. Bid security is set at 5 percent of the estimated cost for each project and must be submitted on a cash basis with proof of deposit uploaded to the e-procurement platform before the bid submission deadline of 15 September 2026 at 09:00 AM.
Bid documents containing complete terms, conditions, requirements, and technical specifications are available for download from the PPRA website and the Punjab E-Procurement portal. Bids will be opened on 15 September 2026 at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives at the District Council office. All interested applicants must be registered on the Punjab E-Procurement System to participate. The procurement process will be conducted in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Regulations 2024 and PPRA Rules 2014 (amended to date) following a single-stage, single-envelope procedure. The successful bidder must submit a performance guarantee as per PPRA rules within 15 days of award of tender work.
