Description / Scope of Work
The Gilgit-Baltistan Sports Board invites sealed bids from eligible government contractors and firms for the procurement of two items: supply of sports gears and equipment (Serial #1) and printing of promotional material (Serial #2). The tender, referenced as No. Sports-5(54)/2020, covers procurement activities for the Sports Board located at Satellite Town Wahdat Colony, Shahrah Quaid-e-Azam, Jutial, Gilgit. The supply of sports items is valued at Rs. 4,000 (four thousand only) while printing of promotional material is valued at Rs. 6,000 (six thousand only). Bid documents can be collected from the office of the Director Sports Board during office hours Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 16:00, against the mentioned payment through Treasury Challan TR. 6. The tender process follows a single-stage two-envelope basis with technical and financial proposals submitted separately in clearly marked envelopes; unopened envelopes shall be rejected and only technically qualified firms proceed to financial evaluation.
Eligible bidders must submit bids accompanied by bid security of Rs. 500,000 million for Lot-A and Rs. 0.100 million for Lot-B in the form of CDR in Pakistani rupees issued by a scheduled bank in favour of the Director GB Sports Board. An affidavit on stamp paper of Rs. 50 is required, certified that the bidder has not been blacklisted by any government or Sami Government Organization or PPRA. Rates for Serial #1 shall be decided on lot basis, while Serial #2 rates are on lot basis requiring quotation of reasonable market rates for each item; otherwise bids shall be rejected. All offered rates must be inclusive of government taxes and foreign charges if any, clearly mentioned in the prescribed type form format issued by the Department.
Bid documents close on 15 September 2026 at 11:00 am with tender opening scheduled for the same date at 12:00 pm. Bids received after the due date and time shall not be entertained. No advance payments are admissible. Incomplete, unsealed, conditional bids shall not be entertained. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in light of PPRA Rules 2004, clause 33 (1) and GB-PPR, 2022 clause 36 (1).
