Description / Scope of Work
The Directorate of Works & Civil Engineering (DW&CE) at the Defence Construction Institute (DCI) in Islamabad invites applications for pre-qualification and bidding for miscellaneous works including construction, left-over work, provision and installation of residential and non-residential facilities and services. The scope encompasses two main categories: construction and installation activities at DCI Islamabad, and consultancy services covering design and resident engineer supervision for various works at the same location. Applications are invited from firms and contractors enlisted with the Military Engineering Services (MES) and from non-enlisted firms who comply with earnest money requirements. The tender reference is 14/600/PPRA/E-6 and further details are available on the PPRA website at www.ppra.org.pk.
Firms enlisted with MES are eligible to apply directly. Firms not enlisted with MES must attach 2% earnest money of the contract cost in the form of a Crossed Demand Draft (CDR) or Defence Saving Certificates duly pledged in favour of DW&CE (DCI) Islamabad. Only qualified contractors will receive bidding documents. Applicants must provide detailed information on works executed during the last three years including the executing agency, contract amount, time allowed versus actual completion, percentage progress of ongoing works, and the department's performance report.
Applications will be received from 28 August 2026 onwards until 10 September 2026. Sealed bids must be submitted to the office of DW&CE (DCI) Islamabad by 1230 hours on 11 September 2026 and will be opened the same day at 1400 hours in the presence of authorized representatives of firms.
