Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), located in Islamabad, invites sealed bids for a closed framework agreement covering hiring of vehicle services on a rental basis across all of Pakistan for a one-year period. This is a single-stage, one-envelope tender process open to reputed firms and contractors registered with the income tax and sales tax departments. The procurement covers transportation and vehicle rental services required by the institute across its operational areas nationwide, with the scope encompassing multiple vehicle categories and ongoing rental support throughout the contract term.
Eligible bidders must be registered with Pakistan's income tax and sales tax authorities. A bid security of Rs. 20,000 (refundable) is mandatory and must be submitted in hard form as a call deposit receipt in favor of PIDE, Islamabad. Bidders are required to furnish certificates of previous work completion and reputation as evidence of capability. Additionally, firms must submit an undertaking on e-stamp paper confirming they have not been blacklisted by any organization or establishment. Technical and financial proposals must be prepared and submitted together in sealed envelopes.
Bids must be submitted on or before September 14, 2026 at 11:00 hours to the office of the Chairman Purchase Committee at PIDE headquarters. Bid opening will occur the same day at 11:30 a.m. in the presence of vendors.
