IESCO Islamabad invites sealed e-bids for the disposal of redundant transmission lines material under Tender No. 75. This procurement concerns the sale and removal of decommissioned transmission line equipment on an 'as is where is' basis. The material is located at various IESCO store formations across the Federal territory of Islamabad. Successful bidders will be responsible for complete dismantling, weighment, counting, loading and transportation of all redundant transmission line material from the site. The tender is advertised in accordance with PPRA Disposal Regulations 2024 and operates through a competitive sealed e-bidding process.
Bidders must submit earnest money or bid security as a Certificate of Deposit (CDR) or bank guarantee issued by a scheduled bank of Pakistan with rating A+ or above, valid for 120 days, made payable to the Chief Executive Officer IESCO Islamabad. The earnest money must be in the bidder's own name and submitted before bid closing time. Bids lacking the required earnest money will be summarily rejected. Bidders are required to inspect the material before tendering and confirm satisfaction on an 'as is where is' basis. All taxes including 18% GST and 10% income tax as per Federal Board of Revenue regulations are the responsibility of the bidder and must be added to the quoted price. Payment must be made exclusively via CDR within 21 working days of receiving the Letter of Acceptance, failing which earnest money will be forfeited.
The successful bidder must deposit the full amount with IESCO Material Management Directorate to receive a Release Order authorizing removal of material from site within 35 working days. Failure to remove material within this period will incur rental charges at 1% per day on the total disposed material value until removal is completed. Bid documents are obtainable from IESCO Head Quarters Material Management Directorate. Bids must be submitted electronically before the specified closing date and time. The CEO IESCO reserves absolute discretion to accept, reject or cancel the tender without assigning reasons.
