Description / Scope of Work
LG&CD Civil Division Gujrat invites electronic bids from eligible contractors and firms for the construction of streets and drains in villages Garha Jattan, Chak Sikandar, Tensil Sarai Alamgir, District Gujrat, Punjab. The estimated project value is Rs 5.000 million with a scope covering infrastructure development in multiple rural settlements. Bidders must be duly enlisted and renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the Financial Year 2026-27, where applicable, and must meet all eligibility requirements prescribed in the bidding documents as per Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (amended). The project will be executed through the Punjab e-Procurement System.
Eligible bidders must submit a Digital Bank Guarantee (e-Bank Guarantee) as bid security equal to 5 percent of the estimated cost (Rs 250,000). Contractors and firms must hold current PEC registration and fulfil all technical and financial requirements outlined in the bidding documents. Any bidder quoting a rate more than 30 percent below the estimate must submit detailed item rate analysis to the office before the work order is issued, failing which the tender will be cancelled and earnest money forfeited. Performance Security equal to 10 percent of the contract price must be furnished through SWIFT MT760 upon acceptance of the bid.
Bidding documents containing detailed instructions, eligibility criteria, specifications, Bill of Quantities, and conditions of contract are available free of cost from the Punjab e-Procurement System (https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/auth/login) and the PPRA Punjab website. Electronic bids must be submitted through the Punjab e-Procurement System on or before 14-09-2026 at 03:30 PM. Bid opening will occur on the same day at 04:00 PM at the office of the Assistant Engineer, LG&CD Civil Sub Division Gujrat. All bids must remain valid for 60 days from the opening date unless otherwise specified in bidding documents.
