Description / Scope of Work

The Provincial Program Director Up-Scaling of Green Pakistan Program (Revised) Revival of Forestry Resources in Gilgit-Baltistan invites sealed tenders on item rate basis from registered firms and authorized distributors for the provision of various items at Gilgit. Three separate categories of goods are being procured: Category A covers supply of stationery items; Category B covers repair of transport and spear parts for vehicles and motorcycles; and Category C covers miscellaneous and other items. The tender process is conducted in accordance with GB Public Procurement Rules Act 2022 procedures. All bid security must be submitted in the form of CDR, Pay Order or Demand Draft from a Scheduled Bank of Pakistan at five percent of the bid value. Tenders will be evaluated through Single Stage-Single Envelope procedures on an item-wise basis. Financially stable firms registered with SECP, PEC or District Registrar/Form-C are eligible to participate. Successful bidders will be bound to supply standard items at fixed rates throughout the financial year 2025-26, subject to release of funds and budget availability.

Three separate supply categories (stationery, vehicle spares, miscellaneous items) for a government forestry program in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Scale appears small to medium based on item-wise procurement model. Notably, successful bidders commit to fixed rates for the full fiscal year 2025-26, making this a binding rate-contract rather than one-off supply. Bid submission requires 5 percent security from a scheduled bank. The tender follows formal GB PPRA rules with single-stage envelope opening on same day as submission closes.

Who can bid: Bidders must be financially stable and registered with SECP, PEC, or District Registrar/Form-C. An affidavit on stamped paper of Rs. 100 is required stating the firm has never been blacklisted by any government or semi-government organization. Typically, stationary and miscellaneous supply contracts do not specify PEC category requirements.
