Description / Scope of Work
The District Health Authority Jhang invites sealed bids for framework contracts covering the procurement of medicines, surgical and disposable items (medical devices), vaccines and sera on a day-to-day local purchase basis, laboratory items, X-ray films, and printing and stationery items for the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Level Government City Hospital Jhang City, Jhang District, Punjab, for the financial year 2026-27. The tender is divided into four categories with an aggregate estimated cost of 13 million Pakistani rupees: medicines and vaccines (4 million), X-ray and laboratory supplies (3 million), printing and stationery (2 million), and general store, dental items and medical gases (4 million). Bidding will follow the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (PPRA) through open competitive bidding using a single-stage, two-envelope procedure conducted on ePADS.
Eligible bidders for category one (medicines and vaccines) must hold a Drug Sale License on Form 9 (Pharmacy). All bidders must not be blacklisted by any government department or PPRA, must provide proof of NTN and STRN status, and must submit active tax payer documentation. Bid security of 2 percent of the estimated cost for each category must be submitted in the form of a CDR from a scheduled bank of Pakistan. General order suppliers are eligible for the remaining three categories.
Bidding documents are available from the Procurement Officer at THQ Level Government City Hospital Jhang City until the closing date of 24 September 2026. Sealed bids must be delivered to the office of the Medical Superintendent by 11:00 AM on the closing date. Bids will be opened at 11:30 AM on the same day in the presence of bidders' representatives. All documents must be submitted online via ePADS with proper page marking, sequential attachment, signatures and stamps on each page.
