Description / Scope of Work
WASA Chakwal invites sealed bids for providing and laying of 12-inch diameter RCC sewer pipe with allied works at Nawab Town in Chakwal City, Punjab. The estimated project cost is Rs 22,13,078. This procurement activity is open to all contractors registered on the E-PADS portal for the year 2026-27 under the MRS 2nd Bi Annual 2026 calendar. The bidding will follow the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure as per Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. Bid security of Rs 1,10,653 (5% of estimated cost) must be submitted from a scheduled bank in Punjab in favour of WASA Chakwal.
Eligible bidders must be registered with E-PADS for the financial year 2026-27. The bid security must be deposited through the e-Procurement System by 11:00 AM on the closing date, failing which the tender shall be cancelled and deemed non-responsive. Should the lowest bid rate fall equal to or below 5% of the estimated cost, the successful bidder must deposit additional performance security ranging from 5% to 10% (inclusive of bid security) within 15 days of receiving the notice of acceptance. All bids must contain item-wise clearly readable quotations; incomplete, ambiguous or unfilled bids will be rejected.
Bidding documents are available for free download from the e-Procurement portal at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/. Bids must be submitted electronically through the E-P System portal by 11:00 AM PST on 24 September 2026. Bid opening will occur on the same day at 11:30 AM PST through E-PADS in the presence of bidders at the WASA Chakwal office. The successful contractor must execute a formal agreement on prescribed government stamp paper within seven days of acceptance letter issuance before the work order is issued.
