Description / Scope of Work
LG&CD Civil Division Gujrat invites electronic bids from eligible contractors and firms for the construction of streets and drains in Village Panjwarian, Tehsil Kharian, District Gujrat, Punjab. The estimated contract value is PKR 5.000 million. This development work will be executed through the Punjab e-Procurement System in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 (as amended). Bidding documents containing detailed specifications, bill of quantities, and conditions of contract are available free of cost from the Punjab e-Procurement System and the PPRA Punjab website.
Eligible bidders must be duly enlisted and renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the Financial Year 2026-27 and must fulfill all prescribed eligibility requirements. Bid Security of PKR 250,000 (5% of estimated cost) must be submitted as a Digital Bank Guarantee or through 1Link payment method via the Punjab e-Procurement System only; physical bid securities will not be accepted. Upon contract award, successful bidders must furnish Performance Security equal to 10% of the Contract Price through SWIFT MT760. Any bidder quoting rates more than 30% below the estimate must submit item rate analysis before work commencement.
Electronic bids must be submitted through the Punjab e-Procurement System (https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/auth/login) on or before 21 September 2026 at 1:15 PM. Bids will be opened electronically at 1:45 PM the same day in the office of the Assistant Engineer LG&CD Civil Sub Division Gujrat. Bidders may obtain bidding documents from the Punjab e-Procurement System and PPRA Punjab website (http://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/ViewTender.aspx). The contract will be awarded to the lowest evaluated responsive bidder. Bids remain valid for 60 days from the opening date. Manual and non-electronic submissions will be rejected.
