Description / Scope of Work
Municipal Corporation Gujranwala invites electronic bids from registered contractors, firms and manufacturers for two framework contracts under the e-Procurement System for the year 2026-27. The first contract covers procurement of patch work, lane marking and painting of curb stones, center median and other allied works on city roads throughout Gujranwala, with an estimated cost of PKR 20.000 million. The second contract involves repair of boundary wall at Model Town Graveyard under Municipal Corporation Gujranwala, estimated at PKR 2.800 million. Both contracts are framework agreements to be executed during the fiscal year 2026-27. Bidders must be registered with the e-Procurement System, FBR, PRA (NTN and PNTN), and PPRA as applicable for their relevant category.
Eligibility requires submission of bid security equivalent to five percent of the estimated contract value, to be submitted electronically through the e-Procurement System in accordance with PPRA instructions. No physical bid-security instruments will be accepted. Bidders must complete and authenticate their electronic bids by uploading a PDF file through the e-Procurement System website at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/. All bids must be submitted electronically; conditional tenders will not be accepted. The Single Stage Single Envelope bidding procedure as per PPRA Rules 2014 will be adopted, and submission of encrypted electronic files shall be deemed submission in envelope form.
Electronic bids must be submitted by 21-09-2026 at 11:00 A.M., with e-bids opening scheduled for the same date at 11:30 A.M. Contractors and firms may attend the office of the Chief Officer, Municipal Corporation Gujranwala on 21-09-2026 when all bids will be downloaded from the e-Procurement System in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee. Bids will remain valid for 120 days from the submission date. The lowest evaluated bidder shall submit a performance guarantee at ten percent of the contract amount within fifteen days of receiving the offer letter, in the form of CDR or Bank Guarantee only.
