Description / Scope of Work
The Town Municipal Corporation Lyari invites electronic bids through the EPADS portal for the improvement and repair of the Meshwari Hindu Community Centre located in Lyari District South, Karachi, Sindh. The estimated project cost is Rs. 2,995,479 with a tender reference number XEN/B&R/TMC/LY/12/2026. This is a single-stage, one-envelope tender open to all eligible contractors, firms and parties with adequate experience in the relevant field of building and repair works. The project scope encompasses maintenance, renovation and repair activities at the community facility in Karachi.
Bidders must possess a valid Professional Engineers Council category certificate where applicable in the relevant field of specialization, a registration certificate with the Sindh Revenue Board, and a valid NTN certificate. Eligible contractors must demonstrate relevant experience through a list of similar assignments completed during the last five years, comprising either at least two similar projects each valued at minimum 50 percent of the project cost or alternatively one similar project valued at minimum 80 percent of the project cost. Financial statements or turnover records must not be less than the scheme cost during the last five years. The bid security amount is Rs. 150,000 (5 percent of estimated cost), to be submitted as a pay order or bank draft in favour of Town Municipal Corporation Lyari.
Bidding documents are available for download from the EPADS portal at http://portalsindh.eprocurement.gov.pk from 7 September 2026 to 21 September 2026. Tender fees of Rs. 3,000 (non-refundable) must be submitted via pay order from a scheduled bank before bid opening. Completed bids must be uploaded to the EPADS website by 22 September 2026 at 11:00 AM, with tender opening by the Tender Opening Committee at 11:30 AM the same day at the Executive Engineer (B&R) office, Town Office, Chakiwara No. 01, Sharah-e-Abdul Raheem, Lyari, Karachi.
