Description / Scope of Work
The Capital Development Authority invites electronic bids from eligible contractors for procurement of providing and installing a fire alarm system along with fire safety equipment, upgrading electrical infrastructure, and overhauling generators installed at Capital Hospital, Sector G-8/2, Islamabad. The estimated project cost is Rs. 72,353,658. This is a single-stage, two-envelope procurement conducted under PPRA Rule-36(b) for qualified contractors and firms registered with PPRA on the EPADS v2.0 portal.
Eligible bidders must be duly registered with PPRA on EPADS v2.0, possess valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) licenses in Category-4 with specific codes EE-04 and EE06, and hold valid electrical licenses issued by the Electrical Inspector Islamabad for execution of electrical and mechanical works in Rawalpindi or Islamabad. Bidders must also be registered with NTN and GSTIN with the FBR and demonstrate their eligibility and qualifications as outlined in the evaluation criteria. Bid security of Rs. 2,170,610 must be submitted in the form of CDR in favor of DOD (P&C), CDA, at the time of technical bid opening, with a scanned copy uploaded to EPADS.

Bids must be submitted through EPADS v2.0 on or before September 21, 2026 at 11:00 AM, with opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM. Notification of Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) constituted under PPRA Public Procurement Rule 2004 Rule-48 is available on EPADS v2.0.
