Description / Scope of Work
The Local Government & Rural Development Department (LG&RDD) in Karak, KPK invites sealed tenders for the provision and installation of solar street lights, solar pressure pumps, and associated civil works across various Village Councils and Neighborhood Councils in District Karak. The project scope includes the supply of high-efficiency solar modules, deep-cycle batteries, LED street lighting systems, and submersible solar pumps to improve rural water access and security. Additionally, the tender covers localized civil works such as foundation construction, drainage improvements, and small-scale infrastructure repairs required for the installation sites. Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in specialized solar energy and civil engineering categories. Interested firms currently on the Active Taxpayers List of FBR and KPRA with a proven history in rural development projects may submit their technical and financial proposals to the Assistant Director's office by 20 May 2026."
