Description / Scope of Work
Capital Development Authority invites electronic bids from eligible contractors for the provision, installation and commissioning of a fire alarm system along with fire safety equipment, upgradation of electrical infrastructure, and overhauling of generators at Capital Hospital, Sector G-6/2, Islamabad. The project carries an estimated cost of Rs 72,353,658 and encompasses comprehensive fire safety modernization and electrical system improvements at this major federal healthcare facility in Islamabad. The work is to be executed under Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure in accordance with Rule 35(b) of PPRA regulations.
Eligible bidders must be contractors or firms duly registered with PPRA on EPADS v2.0, holding a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) License in Category-4 with specific codes EE-04 and EE-06, and possessing a valid Electrical License issued by the Electrical Inspector Islamabad for execution of electrical and mechanical works in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Bidders must also hold NTN and GSTIN registrations with the Federal Board of Revenue and demonstrate compliance with all evaluation criteria specified in the bidding document.
The electronic Request for Proposal containing detailed requirements, terms and conditions is available to registered bidders on EPADS v2.0 at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/. Completed e-bids must be submitted through EPADS v2.0 on or before September 21, 2026 at 11:00 AM, with opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM. Bidders are required to submit original bid security of Rs 2,170,610 in the form of CDR favoring DDO (P&C), CDA at technical bid opening, with scanned copy uploaded on EPADS.
