Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT), through its Supply Chain Management Directorate located in Taxila Cantt, Punjab, invites sealed bids from reputed firms holding valid NTN certificates for the procurement of refurbishment of a mechanical autofrettage facility. The project encompasses detailed specifications as per Appendix-I to Annexure A and is valued as a significant capital equipment acquisition with an eight-month delivery period following contract execution. This is a single-stage, two-envelope procurement conducted on an FOB (Free on Board) basis in accordance with PPRA and Ministry of Defence Production regulations. The scope includes comprehensive refurbishment work on the autofrettage machinery system, a critical component in military ammunition manufacturing.
Eligible bidders must possess current NTN (National Tax Number) certification and provide audited financial statements for the preceding three fiscal years, attested bank statements covering the last twelve months, and proof of registration with the Sales Tax Department. A non-blacklisting certificate issued on judicial paper and attested by an oath commissioner is mandatory, along with documentation of prior contract experience with government or semi-government organizations during the last three years. Bidders acting as distributors or agents must furnish evidence of trade linkage with the original equipment manufacturer.
