King Edward Medical University, Lahore invites sealed bids from manufacturers, authorized distributors, and well-reputed firms for the procurement of laboratory items required for the research grant of Dr. Furqan Yaqoob Panu, a Ph.D. Scholar, under the financial year 2026-27. This tender is issued under PPRA Rules 2014, Section 38(2)a as amended to date. The procurement shall be supplied on a free delivery basis to the consignee's end in Lahore, Punjab. Bidders must be registered with the Sales Tax and Income Tax departments and possess active professional tax registration of the current financial year.
Eligible bidders include well-reputed firms, authorized distributors, retailers, and authorized agents with sound financial position and relevant experience in supplying laboratory and computer stationery items. All manufacturers and in the case of imported goods, sole agents or importers in Pakistan are invited to participate. Bid security equivalent to 2 percent of the estimated value must be submitted in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) or Bank Guarantee in the name of the Vice Chancellor, King Edward Medical University, Lahore, accompanying the technical proposal. The bid validity period is 180 days. Offers with shorter validity, hand-written submissions, missing brand names, conditional proposals, or from blacklisted firms shall be rejected.
Bidding documents are available for download from the King Edward Medical University website at https://kemu.edu.pk and the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority portal at http://ep.punjab.gov.pk/viewtender.aspx. A single-stage, two-envelope bidding procedure will be adopted. Technical proposals will be evaluated first without reference to price, followed by financial bid opening for qualified bidders. Technical evaluation grievances may be submitted within 5 days of the technical report announcement, and financial evaluation grievances within 10 days of financial bid opening. Tenders should be addressed to the Vice Chancellor, King Edward Medical University, Lahore, and will be opened on 22-09-2026 at 10:30 AM through the PPRA EPADS online portal.
