Description / Scope of Work
District Council Rawalpindi invites sealed bids for four maintenance and rehabilitation civil works schemes under the Single Stage Single Envelope procurement method on item rate basis as per PPRA rules for the financial year 2026-2027. The projects comprise rehabilitation of Madina Street in Dhoke Munshi (estimated cost PKR 3.84 million), rehabilitation and improvement of streets and boundary wall at Graveyard Village Jarmot Kalan in Gujar Khan Tehsil (PKR 11.76 million), construction of boundary wall at Graveyard Village Lab in Taxila Tehsil (PKR 16.30 million), and rehabilitation of streets and allied works at Christian Colony James Town in Rawalpindi District (PKR 10 million). All work will be executed in Rawalpindi District, Punjab.
Bidding is open to approved contractors registered with relevant authorities. Bidders must deposit earnest money as specified for each scheme (5 percent of estimated cost for quotations; amounts vary for tender items). All bids must be submitted through the EP system with item-wise rates quoted in figures. Bids containing overwriting, cutting, tempering, or incomplete information will be rejected. Contractors quoting rates exceeding 5 percent above estimated cost must deposit performance security from a scheduled bank within 15 days of notice issuance or face forfeiture of earnest money.
Bidding documents are available on the PPRA website and EP system. Bids must be submitted online by 24 September 2026 at 11:00 AM. All received bids will be opened on the same date at 2:00 PM in the office of District Council Rawalpindi by the Tender Opening Committee in the presence of contractors or their authorized representatives.
