King Edward Medical University, Lahore invites sealed bids from manufacturers, authorized distributors and well-reputed firms for the procurement of laboratory items for the research grant of Dr. Furqan Yaqoob Panu (Ph.D Scholar) under PPRA Rules 2014, 38(2)a for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement is on a free delivery to consignee's end basis. Bidding documents are available on the EPAD PPRA portal and the university website. Eligible bidders must be registered in sales tax and income tax departments with active professional tax for the current financial year.
Bidders must submit a call deposit or bid security equivalent to 2 percent of the estimated value in the form of CDR or bank guarantee in the name of the Vice Chancellor, KEMU, Lahore. The bid validity period is 180 days. Bidders must provide complete firm details including sales tax registration number, income tax number, and authorized representative information. No offers will be considered if they lack proper documentation, contain hand-written content, lack brand specifications, are received without call deposit, are submitted after the stipulated deadline, or are from blacklisted or suspended firms.
Bids will be opened on 22 September 2026 at 10:30 am through the PPRA EPADS online portal in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. A single-stage two-envelope bidding procedure will be adopted with technical proposals evaluated first, followed by financial proposals after technical clearance and grievance redressal.
