Description / Scope of Work
District Council Kasur invites e-procurement tenders for three major infrastructure development works totalling approximately Rs 136.5 million across Kasur district, Punjab. The first project concerns rehabilitation and improvement of rigid pavement and tuff tile work spanning 0.75 km from Steel Bagh Park service road to Government Islamia Graduate College via Ghalla and Sabzi Mandi Chowk, valued at Rs 55.115 million. The second work involves installation of solar lights along Lahore-Kasur main carriageway from roundabout to DHQ Hospital, estimated at Rs 22.554 million. The third comprises solar light installation on Kasur Depalpur bypass from Khara Mor to Faqeeriye wala Roundabout, valued at Rs 58.8 million. All works are to be executed by registered contractors under single-stage, one-envelope open competitive bidding methodology evaluated on least-cost basis.
Bidders must be registered and renewed with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant construction category. Earnest money deposits of 5 percent of estimated cost are required, submitted as Call Deposit Receipts through Punjab E-Procurement System via PSID online banking; no physical submission is needed. The successful lowest bidder must deposit a performance guarantee of 5 percent as per Punjab Local Government Works Rules 2017. All bidding documents must be digitally signed and stamped by authorized representatives and submitted via PDF upload on the e-procurement portal.
Bid documents prepared according to bidding instructions must be uploaded on or before 24 September 2026 by 10:30 AM; proposals will be opened the same day at 12:30 PM on E-PADS.
