Description / Scope of Work
THQ Hospital Kallar Kahar, District Chakwal invites sealed bids from eligible bidders, manufacturers, authorized sales and service dealers, chain pharmacies, distributors and medical stores for a framework contract for local purchase of medicines and surgical disposable items for the financial year 2026–27. The estimated contract value is PKR 4.59 million, covering the supply of essential medicines, surgical and disposable items required for hospital operations in Chakwal district, Punjab. This is an open competitive bidding process conducted under the Punjab Procurement Rules PPRA 2014 (amended up to 2017) using a single stage two envelope procedure.
Eligible bidders must be manufacturers, authorized distributors, chain pharmacies or medical stores currently registered and operational. Bidders are required to submit bid security (earnest money) in the form of a demand draft, pay order or call deposit receipt equal to one percent of the estimated cost, denominated in Pakistani rupees and valid for a minimum of ninety days from the submission deadline. An NTN certificate must be provided and taxes will be deducted as per applicable government rules. Interested bidders should submit best and final prices as no price negotiations are permitted after bid opening.
Bidding documents are available from the office of the Procurement Officer at THQ Hospital Kallar Kahar upon submission of a written application. Documents are also accessible on the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk and the Punjab e-Procurement System at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/auth/login until the closing date of 23 September 2026. Bids will be opened on the same date at the office of the Medical Superintendent in the presence of bidders' representatives.
