Three infrastructure projects totalling approximately Rs. 25.355 million are being procured concurrently by the Municipal Committee in Gujranwala.
Two sewerage schemes and one street construction contract represent medium-scale municipal works typical of tier-two city infrastructure budgets. The tender uses E-PADS electronic bidding with 5% bid security and fast turnaround (bid closing in September 2026). Contractors should note the 4.99% discount threshold triggering additional performance security deposits and the requirement for PEC registration in relevant categories. These appear to be one-off capital projects rather than recurring contracts.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered contractors with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category and codes for FY 2026-27. Typically, municipal works of this value require Category 4 or above PEC registration depending on scope. Firms must have valid NTN (National Tax Number), SECP registration where applicable, and be eligible to contract with government. PEC registration is mandatory; no exemptions stated.
