Description / Scope of Work
Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST), located in Mirpur AJK, is inviting open competitive tenders for civil works on schedule rates and market rates basis. Two projects are on offer: construction of a new laboratory in the Department of Pharmacy at the City Campus with an estimated cost of Rs. 1,184,684 and completion period of 15 days, and repair and renovation of two toilet blocks at Abu Bakkar Hostel City Campus with an estimated cost of Rs. 768,442 and completion period of 15 days. Tender documents will be received until 25 September 2026 during working hours at the Directorate of Works office upon submission of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 3,000 per tender. Bids will be opened on 28 September 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Office of Directorate of Works, Umer Bin Khatab Boys Hostel, Jarikass Campus.
Eligibility is restricted to contractors and firms registered with the Public Works Department AJK and Pakistan Engineering Council for the financial year 2025-26, or those who have submitted renewal fees for 2026-27. Registration with Mirpur University of Science and Technology is mandatory. Contractors or firms with unsatisfactory performance history, litigation records, or blacklist status are ineligible. Bid security (deposit/CDR) must be submitted in favour of the Director Works from any scheduled bank. Income tax, E-Cess, TQT and all other taxes shall be collected as per prevailing laws of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Tenders must follow the single stage one envelope procedure under PPRA rules. Tender documents are available from the undersigned office before 25 September 2026.
