Pakistan State Oil Company Limited invites quotations for bi-annual inspection services of fall arrest systems at its Tarujabba Depot in Sindh. The scope covers comprehensive inspection and functional assessment of 40 fall arrest systems installed within the facility, comprising 24 units on the Filling Gantry and 16 units on the Decantation Gantry. This activity will be conducted twice annually, with invoices processed upon completion of each batch inspection. The objective is to ensure all systems are in safe working condition, conforming to specifications and applicable safety standards including ANSI/ASSP Z359.14-2021, BS EN 795, and OSHA 1910/1926. The inspection must include visual examination of anchor points, lifelines, connectors, harnesses and retractable blocks; verification of installation integrity and anchorage security; operational function testing of locking mechanisms; confirmation of safe working load compliance; proof load and functional load testing of anchorage points; final inspection and validation; and tagging of inspected units with unique identification numbers and status labels. Deliverables comprise detailed inspection reports covering all 40 systems with findings, test results and photographic evidence, non-conformance summary sheets, inspection certificates for compliant systems, and all documentation in soft and hard copy formats. A qualified and competent inspection engineer authorized to perform such assessments must conduct the work.
Quotation deadline is 25 September 2026. Rates must be inclusive of all taxes. The contractor must provide all tools, labour, load-testing dead weights, portable scaffolding and personal protective equipment in strict adherence to company HSE policy. Work completion is required within 30 days of contract signing, with penalty of 0.1 percent per day (maximum 10 percent) for late submission of reports and certificates. Quotations should include transportation and mobilization charges.
