Description / Scope of Work
Rawalpindi Waste Management Company, established under Section 42 of the Companies Act 2017, invites sealed bids for group health insurance coverage of its official staff. The procurement will be conducted through national competitive bidding via the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) under rule 38(2-a) of PPR-14. Bidding documents are available for free download from the PPRA Punjab website and EPADS portal. The contract encompasses comprehensive health insurance services covering all medical needs as specified in the bid documents, with coverage required for all stated services without exception.
Eligible bidders must be well-reputed insurance companies or firms registered with the Income Tax Department and possessing minimum five years' experience in government or private sector operations in Pakistan. Mandatory requirements include Income Tax registration with AA++ minimum rating, valid taxpayer status for three years, Sales Tax registration where applicable, SECP or Registrar of Firms registration, audited financial statements for the past two years, bank statements demonstrating financial soundness, and evidence of two similar assignments. An affidavit confirming the firm is not blacklisted by any government agency is required, along with a complete list of coverage services demonstrating compliance with all RWMC requirements.
Bids must be submitted online through the EPADS portal by 26 September 2026 at 11:00 hours. Technical bid opening will occur the same day at 11:30 hours via EPADS in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives.
