Description / Scope of Work
The Executive Engineer 2nd Building Division Lahore, under the Communication and Works Department of Punjab Building Department (Central Zone), invites item-rate tenders for the supply of 195 electric ceiling fans, 3-star quality and energy efficient, 56-inch sweep size for the construction of BS Block and renovation project at Government Post Graduate College for Women, Samanabad, Lahore. The estimated cost of the contract is PKR 1,170,000. The fans must feature pure copper winding embossed on the motor body, imported electric steel sheet construction, three blades, 4-speed concealed regulator or dimmer, noiseless running, 1 to 2 feet down rod with 3/4-inch diameter galvanized iron pipe, stoving white paint finish, PSQCA valid certification, 200-250 volts operating voltage, 50-60 Hz frequency, and a 2-year warranty. This is a supply contract for a government educational institution renovation project in Punjab.
Bidders must be enlisted and renewed with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the financial year 2026-27 in the relevant category and specialization code. The original PEC License showing the requisite specialization codes must be produced; contractors without relevant specialization codes will not be entertained. Earnest money of 2 percent of the estimated cost, amounting to PKR 23,400, must be submitted in the form of 1-Link or online bank transfer from any scheduled bank through the PSID generated on the Punjab e-Procurement System website before the bid submission deadline. Conditional tenders and tenders without earnest money shall be rejected.
Complete e-bids must be submitted online on the Punjab e-Procurement System website at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk on 30 September 2026 at 11:00 A.M., with bid opening scheduled for 11:30 A.M. the same day. Bid security of 2 percent of the estimated cost must be submitted before the e-bid submission deadline. Bidders are strongly advised to upload their bids well before the submission deadline.
