Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) through its Procurement Distribution office at Khanewal Road, Multan City, Punjab, is inviting bids for the disposal of an empty body transformer. This tender (Reference T.No. 118/2026-27, Disposal Reference D10750) seeks to dispose of scrap transformer material on an as-is-where-is basis from MEPCO's premises in Multan. The disposal is open to any bidder type and represents a straightforward scrap recovery opportunity for contractors involved in material handling and recycling operations.
Eligible bidders must hold NADRA citizenship documentation (CNIC/NICOP), Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) registration for income tax purposes (NTN), and General Sales Tax (GST) registration. Firms must submit an affidavit confirming they have not been blacklisted or debarred by any Pakistani organization. The reserve price, specified without taxes, will form the basis for award to the highest-quoting compliant bidder. MEPCO reserves the right to reject any proposal under PPRA Rule-33.
The successful contractor must lift the allocated scrap material within 21 days of receiving the Release Order. Sub-contracting is prohibited. The contractor bears full responsibility for lifting costs, transportation, and labour at their own expense, with a daily penalty of 1% of bid value (maximum 10% of total stores value) for delays. Payment requires 100% deposit (inclusive of all applicable taxes) within 15 days of award notification, with weight verification conducted at MEPCO's premises before material removal.
