For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
EPZA is auctioning accumulated industrial waste from its Karachi facility—a small-scale, one-off clearing operation targeting scrap materials (cloth, plastic, wood, paper).
Bidders must pay 15,000 Rs upfront participation fee and post 10% withholding tax plus 30% EPZA share as security. The tight 7-day removal deadline and material inspection limit to office hours suggest this is routine housekeeping rather than a large procurement. Suitable for waste traders or recycling firms with quick mobilization capacity.
Who can bid: The notice requires only registered firms and participants; no specific PEC, SECP or NTN requirement is stated. Typically, waste auctioneers prefer bidders with valid business registration, NTN and sales tax authority clearance. No restriction on foreign bidders appears mentioned.
