Description / Scope of Work
Social Security Hospital Manga, located on Raiwind Road in Lahore, Punjab, invites electronic bids for a framework contract to supply blood bank items during the financial year 2026-27. The tender is issued via Punjab E-Procurement Systems under PPRA Rules 2014 (as amended) following a single stage two-envelope procedure. The total estimated contract value is PKR 2,500,000, representing the hospital's annual requirement for blood bank consumables and related supplies. This is a framework agreement tender, meaning successful bidders will be engaged on a rate-contract basis for the fiscal year, with deliveries coordinated as per hospital demand. The contract encompasses all blood bank operational items required to maintain the hospital's transfusion services throughout the financial year.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Punjab E-Procurement Systems and PPRA, hold active Sales Tax and Income Tax registration, and possess established technical, financial and managerial credentials. Bidders must be manufacturers, sole agents of foreign principals with valid authorized distributors, or authorized distributors themselves. Firms blacklisted by PPRA or SSH Manga are ineligible. A bid security of PKR 50,000 (equivalent to 2% of the estimated price) must be submitted electronically through the PSID generated by the E-Procurement System on or before the closing date. Bid validity is 120 days from submission date.
Bidding documents are available for download from the Punjab E-Procurement Systems portal (www.ep.punjab.gov.pk), the PESSI website (www.pessi.punjab.gov.pk), and the PPRA website (http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk) from the advertisement publication date. Bids must be submitted electronically on the Punjab E-Procurement System with all prices inclusive of applicable government taxes. Technical bids will be opened on 29 September 2026 at 09:15 AM in the presence of bidder representatives.
