Description / Scope of Work
The Garrison Engineer (Army) Pano Aqil Cantt invites pre-qualification applications from contractors and firms for issuance of tender documents under PPRA Rules 33(1) of 2004. The procurement covers multiple work categories across the Pano Aqil garrison in Sindh province: TC and DC block repair and maintenance works, E&M block works, installation and up-gradation of solar systems at various locations, re-carpeting and patching of roads, retrofitting and roof treatments, and miscellaneous lump sum contracts for civil, electrical and mechanical works. The scope encompasses seven distinct work packages (a through g) covering infrastructure maintenance and enhancement across numerous blocks and miscellaneous areas within the Area of Responsibility of GE (A) Pano Aqil.
Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and submit proof of valid registration or renewal application. Eligible bidders shall provide certification of non-involvement in litigation with government departments and absence of outstanding DI&E reports. Required credentials include copy of enlistment letter or renewal order, valid PEC registration, NTN or ATL status proof, and professional tax certificate. Firms must also furnish detailed statements of previous experience from the last two years and ongoing works on a prescribed proforma, including project names, amounts, timeframes and completion percentages.
Applications must be submitted to the Garrison Engineer office with all supporting credentials. The tender documents will only be issued to pre-qualified contractors meeting experience and registration requirements. Sealed tenders will be received fifteen days after advertisement on the PPRA website, with opening at 1200 hours on the same date. Work details and cost of bid documents are available from GE (A) Pano Aqil between 0900 and 1400 hours on any working day. The accepting officer reserves the right to accept or reject any tender, and incomplete applications shall not be entertained.
