Description / Scope of Work
The Communication & Works Department (Upper Kurram), Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites electronic bids from eligible firms and bidders for civil work at ARSS Parachinar under project 195180 for Virus Free Seed Potato Production using Tissue Culture Technology at Higher Altitudes in Kurram and Orakzai. The estimated cost of work is Rs 647,000 with a tender fee of Rs 9,700 and completion period as per work order. This single-stage single envelope EPADS-bidding procurement is conducted in accordance with KPPRA Procurement Rules 2014 (Amended). The work location is in the C5 & Above category zone of Kurram division in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Eligible bidders must submit bid security as per KPPRA notification SRO(14)Vol:1-24/2021-22 dated 10/05/2022. Contractors quoting less than 10% below Engineer Estimate shall submit 2% bid security on estimated cost only. Those quoting 10% to 20% below Engineer Estimate shall submit 2% additional security along with required bid security. Bids more than 20% below Engineer Estimate require detailed rate analysis and additional security equal to the difference between bid and Engineer Estimate. All bid securities must be submitted with the financial bid as non-refundable CallDeposit or Tender Fee. Submission of forged or misleading documents results in disqualification and legal penalties. Contractors must possess satisfactory past performance records with the division.
Bid Solicitation Documents (BSD) and instructions are available for download from the EPAD website (kp.eprocure.gov.pk) or from the office on any working day before submission. Bids must be submitted electronically by 07.10.2026 at 10:00 AM. The bid opening will occur on the same date at 10:30 AM at the office of the Executive Engineer, Upper C&W Division Kurram.
