Description / Scope of Work
The GE (Navy) Eastern Garrison, located at 02 Fowler Lines in Karachi, Sindh, invites pre-qualification applications from contractors and firms for execution of multiple repair, maintenance and construction works under tender reference 6001/E-6. The scope encompasses 18 distinct work packages including repair and maintenance of VCB at 12th Seal Road Nathiagali, replacement of air conditioning units with fittings and fixtures at Operations room HQ CC, fire alarm improvement at DG room MES Substation, electrification works at Jetty near PNS Qasim, switch board and ATS panel replacement at DG Room JMICC, internal electric wiring for OPS room HQ CC, LED light installation at CMES office, construction of a helipad at HF Radar site Cape Monze, kitchen store construction at HQ Coastal Command, store provision with bathrooms at flag line house HQ CC, furniture polishing and repair for various offices, furniture provision for men cook house dining hall, water supply motor pump condensation at PNS Iqbal, port protection wall construction at PNS Qasim, AVR provision with cable and fittings at CCTS PNS Qasim, and provision and maintenance of various facilities across multiple Navy installations including PNS Qasim, PNS Iqbal, Nathiagali and NOI/C Port Qasim with estimated contract values up to 50 million rupees. Eligible contractors must be inscribed on the Ministry of Defence and Aviation (MES) approved contractors list or furnish proof of departmental recognition with valid registration certificates from Pakistan Engineering Council, NTN certificate, and GST registration. Contractors not on the MES approved list must deposit earnest money equal to two percent of estimated cost as call deposit with GE (N) Eastern Garrison. Pre-qualified contractors will receive tender documents on 30 September 2026, with sealed bids to be submitted by 1200 hours on the same day at GE (N) Eastern Garrison, 02 Fowler Lines, Karachi-04. Bid opening will occur at 1200 hours on site. Bidders must demonstrate financial standing through bank certificates and provide detailed documentation of similar work completed within the preceding two years along with in-hand project experience authenticated by the Divisional Engineer.
