Description / Scope of Work
The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), a statutory autonomous organization under the Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan, invites bids for procurement of stationery and other general items for its headquarters in Karachi, Sindh. The procurement is structured as a framework agreement for an initial period of one year, extendable for two additional years on the same prices and mutual agreement. Purchase orders will be placed from time to time with the successful bidder offering the lowest or best evaluated bid during the framework agreement validity period. The scope includes paper reams in multiple sizes and weights, folders, file covers, file flappers, tissue paper boxes, air fresheners, gem clips, and insect killer products as detailed in the Bill of Quantities.
Vendors, agencies, or shops must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) or Sales Tax Department with active taxpayer list (ATL) status to be eligible. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of Rs. 100,000 against each lot in the form of a Pay Order or Bank Draft drawn in favour of TDAP. A non-refundable tender processing fee of Rs. 5,000 must be submitted in original to the Executive Officer (Admin) prior to bid opening; failure to do so will result in the bid being rejected from evaluation.
Bidding documents are available on the e-PADS portal (www.eprocure.gov.pk) and the TDAP website (www.tdap.gov.pk). The procurement follows the Single Stage – Two Envelope Procedure in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Bids must be submitted electronically through e-PADS on or before 11:00 a.m. on October 2, 2026, with opening scheduled for 11:30 a.m. the same day. All applicable taxes, duties, and levies will be deducted at source by TDAP.
