Description / Scope of Work
The Purchase Department of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Islamabad, is procuring a Vessel Sealer, a medical device for use in surgical applications at PIMS Hospital, Sector G-8/3, Islamabad Capital Territory. The procurement is planned for financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted through a Single Stage-Two Envelope bidding process using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules, 2004. This is a national competitive procurement open to eligible bidders registered on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS v2.0).
Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 to participate in this procurement process. All bids must be accompanied by either bid security in the amount specified in the bidding documents or a bid securing declaration in the format provided. Bidders should review the complete bidding documents available on the EPADS portal for detailed specifications, technical requirements, terms and conditions, and evaluation criteria before submitting their proposals.
Electronic bids must be submitted through EPADS v2.0 on or before Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM. Manual bid submission will not be accepted. Interested vendors not yet registered on EPADS v2.0 must register at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/.
