Description / Scope of Work
WASA Talagang invites sealed bids for the desilting of a sullage carrier and sewer line measuring 30 inches by 42 inches and 30 inches diameter near Nosh-E-Khas Hotel at Talagang–Chakwal Road and near Dera Sultan Road in Talagang City, Punjab. The estimated contract value is Rs. 34,77,235, and bidding shall follow the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure under the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. This infrastructure maintenance project serves the water and sanitation needs of Talagang City in district Chakwal.
Eligible bidders must be registered on E-PADS (electronic Procurement and Auction Data System) for the financial year 2026-27 under MRS 2nd Bi-Annual 2026. A bid security of Rs. 1,73,861 (5% of estimated cost) must be submitted from any scheduled bank in Punjab in favor of WASA Talagang at the time of bid submission. If the lowest bid is equal to or less than 5% below the estimated cost, the successful bidder must deposit additional performance security ranging from 5% to 10% (including the initial bid security) within 15 days of letter of intent issuance.
Bidding documents are available free of cost on the E-Procurement System portal at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/. Bids must be submitted electronically through the portal by 11:00 AM PST on 07-10-2026, with opening scheduled for 11:30 AM the same day at the WASA Talagang office.
