Description / Scope of Work
The Local Government & CDD Civil Sub Division Rawalpindi invites sealed item-wise rate tenders from registered firms and contractors for four infrastructure schemes in Punjab during the financial year 2026-27. The works comprise construction of roads, streets and allied infrastructure in Mianwali, Tehsil Gujar Khan, Chak Sharan, Cathlic Church Maryam Town, and water supply lines in Dr Naqeer Block and UC Morgah, with a combined estimated value of approximately 29.5 million rupees. Tenders shall be submitted through Punjab E-procurement portal and opened on 29 September 2026 at the office of the Assistant Engineer, Rawalpindi in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee and contractor representatives. The financial year covered spans 2026-27 with earliest money available at 5 percent of contract values.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) holding a relevant lower category PEC registration number, and must submit bids electronically through the e-procurement system without telephonic or conditional amendments. No bids from firms lacking proper PEC registration will be considered. Contractors are responsible for payment of all applicable taxes at the time of release of payment as prescribed by Government of Punjab rules, and PPRA Rules shall be strictly followed throughout the bidding process. A performance guarantee equal to 10 percent of the contract amount must be deposited as per clause 56 of PPRA regulations.
