Description / Scope of Work
The Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmir, Department of Elementary & Secondary Education (Planning Cell) invites sealed bids from furniture manufacturers registered with the Sales Tax and Income Tax departments of AJ&K for the procurement of school furniture. This is a single stage-one envelope procurement conducted in accordance with the AJ&K Public Procurement Rules, 2017. The bid security required is PKR 300,000. Bidders must be registered with relevant tax authorities and possess valid certificates affirming non-blacklisted status. The procurement is open to all eligible furniture manufacturers across the state, with delivery required to institutions throughout AJ&K on a Delivered Duty Paid basis, covering all applicable taxes and transportation costs.
Eligible bidders must be furniture manufacturers registered with Sales Tax and Income Tax departments of AJ&K Government. Bid security in the form of a CDR, bank draft, or pay order in favour of the Senior Chief of Planning Cell is mandatory and must accompany the financial bid. All bidders are required to provide certificates confirming their non-blacklisted status and absence of conflicts with the government in any territory within AJ&K, Federally Administered Areas, or Pakistan. Blacklisted firms, suppliers, and contractors are strictly prohibited from participating.
Tender documents are available from the Senior Chief Planning Cell office, E&SE District Complex, L-Block Muzaffarabad, AJ&K, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday. A non-refundable fee of PKR 5,000 is required upon submission of a written application on official letterhead. Bids must be submitted by 15 October 2026 at 11:00 am, with opening scheduled for 11:30 am the same day. Complete supply and delivery must be accomplished within 120 days of contract award.
