Description / Scope of Work
The Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC) invites pre-qualification applications from national firms and workshops for repair and maintenance services covering machinery and equipment, furniture and fixtures, hardware, building and structure repairs, miscellaneous items, and IT equipment. This is a non-consultancy services procurement with funds reserved for FY 2026-27, intended to establish a panel of pre-qualified service providers who will subsequently participate in invitation to bid processes. The pre-qualification scope is national in nature, with the contract reference P124120 being the basis for this multi-category maintenance and repair services requirement. Only pre-qualified applicants will be permitted to participate in subsequent bidding rounds.
Eligibility is open to all national applicants meeting the criteria set forth in the pre-qualification documents. The pre-qualification process follows a Single Stage-One Envelope methodology as per government procurement regulations. Interested applicants should verify specific qualification requirements, financial capacity thresholds, past experience standards, and technical credentials through the complete pre-qualification documents available on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0. All documentation must comply with the standards outlined in the procurement forms section.
Applicants may obtain complete pre-qualification documents through the EPADS v2.0 portal during normal office hours. The Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination is located at 2nd Floor Kohsar Block, Pak Secretariat, Islamabad Capital Territory. Further information and clarifications can be requested by contacting the Section Officer at telephone +92-346-197-7833 or via email at so.general@ipc.gov.pk. For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
This is a pre-qualification exercise establishing a vendor panel for multi-category repair and maintenance services (machinery, furniture, building, IT equipment) under a national scope contract.
The single-stage envelope process suggests straightforward qualification assessment based on experience, financial standing, and technical capability rather than competitive bidding at this stage. Once pre-qualified, firms will compete in subsequent ITBs. Scope spans multiple service categories, implying the ministry requires diversified vendor capabilities or plans separate contracts by category. Typical timeline from pre-qualification announcement to actual contract award is several months.
Who can bid: Typically, service providers must be registered with SECP or other relevant authority, hold valid NTN, maintain compliance with tax and labor regulations, and demonstrate relevant past experience in repair and maintenance services. Financial capacity assessment and equipment/workshop capability documentation are typically required. Specific category-wise qualification thresholds should be verified in the detailed pre-qualification data sheet and evaluation criteria sections.
