Description / Scope of Work
State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan, Karachi Central Zone, invites sealed bids for the purchase of office furniture items for Area Managers under Single Stage, one envelope procedure in accordance with PPRA E-Pad Rules. The procurement includes seven categories of furniture: executive tables with side racks (7 units), high-back ergonomic revolving chairs (7 units), steel file cabinets with four drawers (7 units), side storage racks (7 units), medium-back visitor chairs (21 units), and three-seater sofas (7 units). All items must meet specified commercial-grade standards with detailed requirements for materials, dimensions, finishes, and load-bearing capacities. The tender is issued from the State Life Building, Abdullah Haroon Road, Saddar, Karachi, Sindh province, with tender reference P126034.
Bidders must be registered with Sales Tax and National Income Tax (FBR) to be eligible for participation. Bid security of 5% of the approximate tender value must be deposited in the form of a call deposit receipt in favour of State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan, Karachi Central Zone. All bids must be submitted exclusively through the PPRA E-Pad system, with technical details and financial rates in PDF format accompanied by the respective bid security document. Original bid security in the form of a pay order must be physically submitted at the office address before the closing date and time, otherwise the tender will be rejected.
Bid submission is through PPRA E-Pad system only, with the closing date set for 5 October 2026 at 11:00 AM and opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM. In case of public holiday, bids will be downloaded from the E-PPADS system on the next working day. Successful bidders must submit a performance guarantee of 5% of their quoted bid amount, valid for the entire one-year warranty period, at the time of purchase order issuance. Bid security will be returned to unsuccessful bidders after formal procedures and to the successful bidder after contract signing; the performance guarantee will be released after warranty expiry.
